Public Hearing Scheduled for Redevelopment Area Designation Review

The Highlands Water Protection and Planning Council (Highlands Council) is a regional planning agency that works in partnership with municipalities and counties in the Highlands Region to encourage a comprehensive regional approach to implementing the 2004 Highlands Water Protection and Planning Act (the Highlands Act).

The Highlands Council is currently accepting written public comments on a proposed Highlands Redevelopment Area Designation in Mount Olive Township. The Highlands Council Staff Review of the proposal along with the public notice announcing the public comment period are below.  Written public comments are being accepted through July 16, 2025. Please see public notice for instructions regarding submission of commentsAt this time, it is anticipated that the Highlands Council will hold a public hearing on this review at its regular meeting on Thursday, August 21.
