Town Council Meeting

Please attend this important meeting to have your voice heard. Changing the designation from Highlands Preserved to Highlands Redevelopment is first step to building warehouses.
Our Town Council will be considering resolution 210-25
“Authorizing submission of a petition to the Highlands Council for
designation of Highlands Redevelopment Area Block 8300, Lots 5, 5.01,
5.02, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 & 11.01; Block 8301, Lot 7; Block 8100, Lot 38; and
Block 8400, Lot 1
As part of the Highlands Redevelopment process, the Township intends to
submit an application to the Highlands Council seeking designation of a
Highlands Redevelopment Area along Sand Shore Road between Stephens
Park Road and Rt. 46. The designation could affect the development
potential of properties located within its boundary. Property owners have
been notified and have an opportunity to be heard at a public hearing in front
of the Highlands Council. “
